PATRON SAINT OF LITERARY TRAVELS

She was a wise woman, pure of heart, thought and deed who had a passion for the written word. She lived her life as if it were a sweeping epic, escaping into the pages of unknown worlds, traversing continents and traveling backwards and forwards through the centuries. Her adventures rivaled those of Don Quixote, Hamlet and Alice in Wonderland. This erudite saint of letters and travel, was always accompanied by her four-legged companion. With this canine, Molly, they became a "letter perfect" pair. Molly was in essence her alter ego, and they developed an uncanny ability to read each others thoughts.

I received my santo as a birthday gift from my husband. It is without a doubt the most fun and special gift I have ever received. With just one conversation and a couple of pictures, Kathy was able to capture my likes and likeness (and that of my dog Molly) in a very appealing way. Once I saw the sketch I couldn’t wait to see the finished piece. Kathy is truly a unique and creative artist.
