PATRON SAINT OF SPINNING TALES

She was a fine woman with a witty tongue and a merry disposition. She drew her livelihood from spinning skeins of wool with her trusty spinning wheel. Her cat, Rascal, was always at her side. With a flair for the vibrant and dramatic, the beautiful fibers she'd spin were sought after by princes and paupers alike.  She'd trust her instinct on whom to share her wares with, and when in doubt would consult her feline muse Rascal.  He too, had that extra sixth sense, and would answer in his sing song meow--almost anticipating her question before she could pose it.

Over time, this saintly pair---along with her punster husband---became famous throughout the land.  They combined their talents for all types of spinning to weave a magical tapestry spun from their yarn and stories.  Visitors came from all over to be in the presence of this unique tapestry and would be overcome with a joyous sense of peace, belonging, and laughter.  For St. Chris was extremely clever with her double-entendres, the cat was pitch perfect, and her husband was always good for at least one bad pun.
